Loretta Blake

Australia is not a landscape of strong colour – light is strong, landscape is powerful

Orange-born Loretta Blake has been passionate about art for over 35 years, with her works featured in private collections across Australia and overseas. Her first successful exhibition was in Sydney in 1987 at Geo Styles Gallery. Since then, she has enjoyed commercial success, exhibiting extensively both in Australia and abroad.

A feminine painter her works are strong with a highly developed sense of composition & the power of decorative art”

Studio

Loretta draws inspiration from nature—flowers, foliage, and sensory delights—making it fitting that her studio is situated in her stunning garden. Here, both Loretta and her daughter Larissa find peace and inspiration to channel their creativity.

“Loretta Blake is a painter of rich luscious still life and says that she is a woman with a passionate love for her garden which responds to her affectionate care”
